Fincastle Estate Historic Restoration

The entire home was renovated including:

  1. The exterior of the main house and pool house were scraped and repainted.
    All rotten materials were replaced with rot resistant product Azek.
  2. Windows were removed and historic replacements installed.
  3. All floors were sanded and refinished or had new quarter sewn oak floors installed,
  4. All baths, kitchen and butler’s pantry were removed and replaced with new materials
    and a style befitting a historic home.
  5. All electrical and plumbing were updated plus HVAC added where necessary (three systems).
  6. Major room addition included family room and mud room.
  7. Completely updated swimming pool decking and pool house with two full baths and outdoor kitchen.
  8. Added brick walks, limestone and bluestone patio with a classic fountain.
    Tuckpointed where necessary and added new concrete turnaround.

Penny Love not only supervised the entire project but made all of the interior selections including furniture, artwork, etc.
